Alan Fry was a shy kid who tried to cover up feelings of not fitting in by being angry. Once you got to know him and once he trusted you, you had a good friend with a dry sense of humor and a fierce sense of loyalty. It's always a tragedy to lose someone young; I'm sad because I think Alan's best days were definitely in front of him.
